Photo of student Josh G. and teacher Mrs. WetzelCongratulations to Mrs. Wetzel for receiving the Coughlin You Make a Difference Award! Mrs. Wetzel was nominated by, Josh G., her current student who nominated her for the award. Josh spoke to a group of teachers, administrators, parents and students describing how Mrs. Wetzel is kind in class. She helps him and his classmates when they make mistakes. She does this kindly. When she helps with mistakes, she points out the mistake, explains what was wrong and explains how to fix it.

Stevenson Principal, Mrs. Kisner shared, “I am so proud of Mrs. Wetzel, she is very deserving of the recognition and the award.  It means so much when one of our very own students tell us how we make an impact in their lives. And I am so proud of Josh.  He wrote this nomination on his own.  His parents had no knowledge that he wrote the essay for Mrs. Wetzel.  Josh spoke eloquently...  He is a quiet leader.”

Congratulation Mrs. Wetzel we are all so happy for you!!!
