Dear Parents of HHS Seniors,
The school year has passed by quickly and the Class of 2018 is about to bid farewell to Heath High
School. The purpose of this letter and the enclosed sheet is to provide you with vital information
regarding end of the year activities and events.
Senior Honors Program – The annual Senior Honors Program will be held Wednesday, May 16th
at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium. Many of our graduating seniors will be recognized for special
accomplishments, awards, and scholarships. Letters will be sent out to all who are invited.
Senior Class Trip – All HHS seniors have been invited to participate in the trip to Cedar Point on
Thursday, May 24. Students who have purchased their tickets, are asked to meet at the high
school at 6:30 AM. The buses will depart promptly at 7:00 AM and return at approximately 7:00 PM.
All school rules and policies will be enforced during the trip. Students who do not participate in the
school-sponsored trip are expected to be at school.
SENIOR FINALS – Finals for seniors will be given May 23rd, 24th and 25th during regular scheduled
class times.
SENIOR WALK OUT – On the last day for senior’s, caps and gowns will be distributed. Students
will then bus to Garfield, on to Stevenson, then to the Middle School and last the high school. They
will walk through the halls with students outside their classroom clapping them out. Once they walk
through the high school, and walk out the door, it will be the last time as a Heath High School
Student. They will only be back for Senior Breakfast/Graduation Practice and Graduation on June
1st at 8:00 a.m.
Let’s make the final few weeks and the culminating graduation ceremony successful and memorable
experiences for the members of the Heath High School Class of 2018! Please contact me if you have
