Spirit Week - Taking Care of our Own!
We are hosting a spirit week this week in support of one of our own 8th grade bulldogs who is living her life with hemophilia. Each day she is sharing with the student body some information about this rare disease and what it is like for her as a teenager. We are asking that students donate a dollar each day to participate in the following theme days:
Wednesday, May 27 - Hat Day
Thursday, May 28 - Superhero Day
Friday, May 29 - Wear Red - it's her favorite color!
Monday, June 1 - Beach Day
*All proceeds will go to the National Hemophilia Foundation
Beach-Themed School Dance
We are hosting a dance on Monday, June 1st. Tickets are $5 and are on sale each day during students' lunch periods. The dance will be held from 1:40-3:40. Students not choosing to attend the dance will be assigned to a study hall from 1:40-2:40. Student who do choose to attend have the option to leave at 2:40 (the end of the school day) or stay until 3:40 if transportation can be arranged.
